not far from home
the buffalo roam
in the center of the circle
where atoms fly
near the speed of light
in circles like superman
going back in time
past kennedy, lincoln and washington
past the rebirth, the death, the birth
past the huns, the czars, the greats
dinosaurs, one earth, and ocean life
past the birth of the sol
to the coldness before the light
back to the first fire
the explosion where He created it all
to tea time at the beginning of it all
where we can sit and make plans
for how it will all turn out
