lennon singing “All You Need is Love”
on the YouTube video
as I surf the net

but maybe I’ll find something
to keep me occupied until
life’s lucky accident come calling

Love Is Not Down

love is not down
beneath, ready to rise up
from the gray asphalt
of the paved roads,
and love is not up
love is not a bird
looking down on us and watching
waiting eagle-eyed ready to swoop
love is just an accident
that smacks us on the face
as we are walking
down the wooded path
