Two Bucks
two bucks left on the table
my lunch money for the day
I could get a rectangle of pizza
some fries and a coke
or save it all up for a week
and stop by Johnny’s to buy
a couple of packs of baseball cards
and maybe some sour patch kids
now I’ve got no time for lunch
just a quick coffee (more than two bucks)
and rainy days are every day
and there never seems to be money
left over for saving
